Biography:

 

For the past 34 years Master Travis Bratton has been practicing Martial Arts. Master Travis Bratton was six years old when he started martial arts training.  From the first time he stepped onto the mats, he knew that he was meant to be a Martial Artist. Master Travis trained with Taekwondo Master Ji Ho Lee, who coached him to a first-place trophy in his first tournament. Master Travis expanded his training into boxing, winning the State and Regional silver gloves in boxing.  In 2005 Master Travis joined the United States Army and trained in Army combatives, later becoming certified level three. In 2007 Master Travis was called to serve his Country in Iraq Upon returning In 2008 from his tour in Iraq, Master Travis continued training with Grand Master Miguel Hernandez in Taekwondo and Aikido.   Master Travis has a 5th Dan in Taekwondo under Great Grand Master In Hu Won.  He holds the prestigious Kukkiwon certification and is a USA Taekwondo Olympic Level 1 coach.  Master Travis has recently received his 4th Dan in Hapkido under Great Grand Master In Hu Won and has training in sword and other weapons techniques.  In 2016 Master Travis was inducted into the U.S Martial Arts Hall of Fame and has been an opening instructor for the event up to 2021. Master Travis continues to offer training to any and all who wish to learn or wants to defend themselves, he currently has a school in Arkadelphia and continues to share his knowledge and love for Martial arts. Master Travis truly believes in and loves martial arts. Master Travis serves the local community.  His primary goal is to help the youth stay off the streets and build a foundation of discipline, respect, and self-esteem.
